While it is not impossible for you to be the first in your family to have asthma symptoms, if there are others in your family who are also suffering, then it is much more likely that you will develop symptoms as well. By not treating your asthma, you are playing a dangerous game with your life, and treatment can unlock a new lease on life as you can go back to enjoying all of your favorite activities.
